Third Avenue Spotlights Verrazano Vision

With both eyes on Bay Ridge, optometrist Dr. Roseanne Ricciardi and optician Lloyd Berg are celebrating their 14th year providing quality eye care at 8421 Third Avenue. Lloyd and Roseanne a married couple have three children, Margot age 14, Joanna age 11 and Nathan age 7. They are Bay Ridge natives and still reside here now. “We live here, practice here and our children all go to school here. We have our whole lives invested in Bay Ridge and have found it very rewarding, both professionally and privately” says Dr Ricciardi.

Dr. Ricciardi, a graduate of the New England College of Optometry and her husband Lloyd Berg, a New York State licensed optician have sixty years of professional experience between them. Dr. Ricciardi offers complete comprehensive eye examinations, resulting in excellent vision through both, eye glasses and contact lenses. She also checks and treats Glaucoma and many other eye disease ailments. Her warm and caring personality, along with her professional expertise, has resulted in incredible patient loyalty.

Lloyd, a licensed optician for thirty years makes ever pair of glasses on the premises, in his state of the art laboratory. “My father was in the optical business and started bringing me to work with him when I was only thirteen years old. The only job I’ve ever had besides doing this was delivering newspapers” says Lloyd.

Verrazano Vision features a large assortment of over three thousand frames and sunglasses, including the most current styles from famous designers. Designers include Prada, Gucci, Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, Christian Dior, Tom Ford and dozens more. Every customer can find a great look they love here.
